Taize Worship
You are invited to a Taizé worship service at Messiah on Sunday afternoon, May 31. Rooted in the quiet, meditative tradition of the Taizé Community, this service offers a peaceful space for prayer, reflection, and renewal. Through simple chants, silence, Scripture, and candlelight, we slow down and open ourselves to God’s presence in a deeper way.
Whether you are seeking rest, clarity, or simply a moment of stillness, this service provides a gentle and meaningful pause in the rhythm of life. All are welcome.
O.W.L.s Gathering
Our Older, Wiser Lutherans (OWLs) will gather on Tuesday, May 12 for a time of fellowship, learning, and connection. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy conversation with others in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
We’ll be joined by a guest from the YMCA, who will share information about programs and opportunities available through the YMCA, along with a few simple chair exercises to keep us moving and engaged.
All are welcome—come for the community, stay for the conversation, and leave with something new.
Mother's Day @Messiah
On Mother’s Day, we take time in worship to give thanks for the women who have nurtured, guided, and cared for us.
Flowers are shared as a simple expression of gratitude and recognition, honoring mothers and all who reflect God’s love through care and compassion. We also hold space for the many emotions this day can carry, offering a spirit of grace, remembrance, and hope for all.
Join the band, play an instrument, sing or simply delight in how God works on us through music, you’ll find a place here.
Messiah offers a variety of small group opportunities, bible studies, classes, and support groups for adults who want to take the next step.
Giving our time and talent for our ministries and outreach in our communities with ministry partners. Join us in giving back to our community.
