Education
Adult Bible Study
At Messiah, adult education is an opportunity to grow in faith through Scripture, conversation, and reflection. Pastor Tom leads ongoing Bible studies throughout the year, with a large group gathering on Tuesdays at 1:00 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, running from October through May. These studies create space to engage the Bible, ask honest questions, and connect faith to everyday life.
One-on-One Study
with Pastor
For those seeking a more personal and focused experience, Pastor Tom offers one-on-one study tailored to your questions, interests, and faith journey. These sessions provide space for deeper conversation, reflection, and growth. Simply reach out to schedule a time that works for you.
Printed Materials
Pastor Tom provides written resources for continued growth, including educational pamphlets and seasonal devotionals during Advent and Lent. These guides are designed to support both group study and personal reflection, helping you deepen your faith throughout the year.
Confirmation
This is the space to tell people about an open position. Describe the role, its requirements and the qualities the business wants to see in candidates. List the benefits that come with the job and tell interested readers what to include in their applications.
First Communion Class
Our First Communion class for older elementary students is a meaningful step in a child’s faith journey. Through engaging lessons, conversation, and hands-on learning, students explore the meaning of Holy Communion and what it means to receive this gift. The class helps prepare them to participate more fully in worship and to understand Christ’s presence in the meal.
New Members Class
Our New Members’ Classes are offered quarterly for those who are interested in learning more about Messiah and exploring what it means to be part of this community. These sessions provide a relaxed and welcoming space to ask questions, hear our story, and share your own. Whether you’re new to church or simply new to Messiah, this is a meaningful step toward connection and belonging.
Messiah Book Club
The Messiah Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month for thoughtful conversation and shared discovery. Each gathering centers on a book read during the previous month, offering a chance to reflect, discuss, and connect with others. All are welcome—whether you come ready to dive deep or simply to listen and enjoy the conversation.
