Messiah Lutheran Church is located on the corner of Eastern Ave. and Grey St. in Wesleyville, just east of Erie, PA. Our address is 2025 Eastern Ave, Erie, PA 16510. Click the map for in-depth directions.
Our Building
Our church building is much larger than you think. The sanctuary is located in the front portion of our building and is the largest room in our facility. We are handicapped accessible and are compliant with all handicapped laws.
The Nursery
Our nursery is available during all worship services and church events, and families are welcome to use it whenever needed. Located on the lower level just below the sanctuary, the space is stocked with toys, educational materials, and a child-friendly restroom, with an adult restroom just outside the room. While in the nursery, you can continue to follow the service through the speakers.
Hearing Assisted Devices
At Messiah, we want everyone to fully participate in worship. Our sanctuary includes a hearing assistance system to amplify spoken words, with devices available for those who need them. Just let us know—we’re happy to help.
Our Worship Services
Messiah offers a variety of worship experiences throughout the year, creating space for reflection, prayer, and renewal in different ways. Alongside our regular Sunday services, we gather for Lenten midweek services, and community worship in partnership with the Wesleyville Ministerium of Churches. We also host unique offerings such as sound baths, Taize worship, and Lectio Divina, inviting people to encounter God in both traditional and creative expressions of worship.
Our Pastor
Our Pastor, Rev. Thomas M. Glasoe, began his ministry at Messiah in June 2023. Born in Vietnam, he spent the first ten years of his life there before coming to the United States. Since arriving at Messiah, he has focused on cultivating a more holistic approach to spirituality, fostering authentic worship, and deepening meaningful relationships with Christ and with one another.
